The company was established in 1943 and holds today a complete range of standard and special door solutions.
The factory in Horten manufactures light and heavy-duty doors as well as windows and glazed partitions for ships and offshore constructions.
The company is located just 1 hour drive south of the capital Oslo in the old premises of one of the biggest shipyards in Norway. Now the area host industrial companies of which many dealing with marine equipment.
The production capacity of the site is approx. 6.000 doors/year in a production area of 4.000m2 with 40 employees as per 31.12.2007
Maritime Doors and windows for all purposes
Baggerød produces typical and special designed doors and windows for the maritime markets. Baggerød have also designed a electric drive system for sliding doors. Both normal electric, and EX approved. Baggerød are also the perfect choice for lifecycle services on doors, drive systems and windows.
