Euromotori – Electric Motors
The company FEMM got founded 1962 to rewind and repair safe area electric motors. Then, a small production got added, to feed the local regional market (within Lombardy).
In 1972 the shareholders, Mr. Fossati and Mr. Colzani, started euromotori to import and resell in Italy electric motors manufactured in eastern Europe.
In 1990, after having received the homologation from CESI (Centro Elettrotecnico Sperimentale Italiano, the most prestigious Notified Body) in Milan, started the manufacturing of Explosion proof Ex motors, that starting from 1993 are being exported throughout Europe, thanks to a capillary distribution network.
In 2006 the 100% Made in Italy production starts with the MAK series, and nowadays the range covers IIB and IIC gas groups, from T3 to T6 temperature classes, GAS II2G and DUST II2D markings.
The range comprehends:
- three-phase motors from 56 till 315 frame, available also with brake;
- single-phase motors from 56 till 132 frame, also double capacitor version available;
- two-speed motors.
Euromotori premises include a 3800sq.meters operating surface and a 3500sq.meters stock; at present the staff is composed of 42 people and thanks to high-technology machinery it can guarantee a high-quality production standard.
